Banks, Private Lenders, Hedge Funds are great sources of loans or notes. Purchasing notes gives you another tool for a cash flow stream or ability to gain control of title for real estate. I purchased 2 notes from a hedge fund in 2012 and got a deed-in-lieu on one, and foreclosed on the other. They were non-performing notes.
